Hello Scruff and welcome to FBUK. Your faciity sounds amazing, what a shame it's such a long way off yet still in Scotland.

Maybe I'll venture down your way, there's certainly a great incentive.

Welcome.

Mac brings back some memories, I was stationed there for a while during the summer of 94.

Hi David,

Thanks for your interest and sorry for not coming back to you sooner. I completely missed your post until today...

Yes, we are fully up and running as a public range, shooters with their own guns and suitable variations can shoot by the hour / half day or full day.

We are safety certified up to 650 ftLbs / 2,650 fps solid or jacketed ammo (non expanding only of course)

We have Remington 597s (.22LR S/A) for hire under sect. 11-4 for FAC and non-FAC holders to use too.

The range CCTV is up and running and there is a pool table, coffee, tea, and snacks etc. available in the club room.

If you find yourself travelling in this direction again, give us a call.
The range is open Wednesdays and weekends from 10am -7:30pm and you can reach us there on 01586 810161.
At other times, to book a session or ask any questions you can call us on 01583 431444

Cheers,

Scruff

Scruff,

Thanks for the info -- next time I head your way, I'll call ahead of time, and discuss options for a little sporting activity whilst on hols...hopefully you would be able to provide secure storage while I'm there.

David.
