What's all the running about and are the guns cleared before the light jog?

Its a rundown and no, rifles are loaded and made ready with safety catch on.

Blimey you have a very different set of rules at Bisley compared to our local club. I was taught a safety isn't to be relied upon. I'm sure it's safe enough, but it's a different culture.

There is a mandatory safety catch check on every single rifle before starting the course of fire and there is a RO assigned to each shooter to ensure it's applied before movement.

Perhaps your club officals could tell the military that safety catches can't be relied on because hundreds of soldiers do rundowns on at Bisley that way. Maybe you think the soldiers should bag their rifles first before running and also not carry their rifles slung on their shoulders after being cleared off the point?

Looks cool :good: - though It would be good to see some of it in real time.

Is it all teams, or can you enter as an individual?

I like my club, plus it's less than 4 miles from my house. I'll get down to Bisley later in the year hopefully.
