Irish International Open
Just back from Kildare after competing at the Irish International Open. 3 days of Gallery Rifle events including SB and CF pistols. Sadly, visitors were unable to shoot CF pistol.
It took place at Harbour House Sports Club at their fantastic facilities about 10 miles from Kildare. They also ran 22 bench rest comps as well. Very well run and a great atmosphere, they even held a gala dinner on the firing point on Sat night.
An international match was shot on Sat and Sun which Ireland won both CF and SB.
Several Scottish guys did really well claiming wins against competitors from the UK and Germany. Me, I had a B class win with a 22 pistol in Multi Target. Not bad as I beat the guy who owned the Sig P226. The team, Simia Delta! also did well picking up a 2nd and a 3rd.
Great weekend. If you want to shoot GR elsewhere then get it in your diary for next year.
The German Open in November is on the cards!

I'd have thought you'd be more up to speed on current affairs......but as you aren't, I can tell you that we are not, and hopefully never will be.

Re: Irish International Open
Nothing like a sweeping generalisation! My mind has always been made up.
Hope you'll be more informed if you are elected to General Council!

Mike357, I think JohnMH is highlighting your error in this sentence:
Scottish guys did really well claiming wins against competitors from the (rest of the) UK and Germany
Scottish guys did really well claiming wins against competitors from the (rest of the) UK and Germany
