GSG MP40 .22

#1 Post by Junge »

Hi All
Edgar brothers are the importers for the GSG MP 40 in 22 calibre here's the info
Sounds like the barrel will have to be extended by two inches? to comply with british law will look slightly odd? Will I buy one maybe!

We are currently getting the factory to extend the barrel length to comply with UK regulations. We have ordered them but are just waiting for the amended version to be finalised. Keep in touch with your dealer or just get them to order one. Current part number to order is GSG-440.00.02 but this may change. If it does we will amend before sending out to the dealer. Scopemount for the MP40 is part number GSG-440.01.12, the spare Magazine is part number GSG-440.01.10 for the 24-round or GSG-440.01.11 for the 10-round if you want to order any of these items at the same time.

Thanks & regards,

Derek Edgar
Managing Director

Does this mean the one they had on their stand at the gamefair was/is section 5?

I saw one at the Shooting Show with a fake suppressor.

Possibly - as they mainly do S.5 & airsoft - though IF it was S.5 it'd be illegal for anyone other than another S.5 RFD to handle it

That was my point; and I'd think even "locked" to the display board would have them in bother.

However, I'd guess that it'd be the same one Mr Muggins saw at the shooting show and I've forgotten about the fake mod/thought that was standard from GSG.

Hi All

Bit more info
not sure how they intend to do the barrel exstention at the moment. Obviously it can’t be detachable and we don’t want it to spoil the look of the gun. The MSRP at the moment is £439 incl. VAT.

2" isn't much (ask my missus) just extend it. FFS don't put anything else stupid on it like a moderator/extension/silencer.
