My Dad's Snider (Mk.II) has for some reason a carbine sight leaf, the sight base is the correct one for the rifle but the sight itself has obviously been replaced at some point. If anyone knows of any snider sights then please let me know.
Or does anyone more knowledgeable know if the sights for a snider are exactly the same as those for the P1853 enfield?

Re: Snider Enfield Rear Sight Leaf
yes---Sniders were originally converted Enfields. When looking for a leaf, be careful----the Snider / Enfield leaf looks like a Martini-Henry leaf from a distance, or on a photograph. The Martini leaf is significantly wider and will not fit.
