slide fire stocks section 5??
slide fire stocks that make you bump fire a semi-auto to produce near full auto type rate of fire very popular in the states would these be considered section 5 even for a .22lr as technically you are converted the rifle to a select fire full auto ???
Re: slide fire stocks section 5??
HOW would the stock convert the gun to full auto?
Does it involve a new sear set?
Or...is the trigger still being activated per single shot??

...so, just lile them BMF Activator doo-dads from the 80's/90's
Re: slide fire stocks section 5??
It techically is. Slidefire stocks enable accurate repetition of the bump-fire technique. It's still one shot per trigger pull; just faster.still one shot per trigger pull!
...somehow I don't think .22LR has the recoil to make it work though.

I was almost tempted to buy one but I have enough problems with Durham as it is!

...obviously, if using the same logic as the local police here, they will be S5SevenSixTwo wrote: [ETA]: Yes, fitting the stocks will be illegal. Maybe.....
(slam fire shotguns are borderline S5, as they keep firing if you keep the trigger pulled back )
...though one FEO almost seized an SGC Rifle too when I told him it was semi-auto (he was asking about its lever release system!)- the FACT it was a .22 escaped him somewhat: not big on details, some FEO's up here!!
Re: slide fire stocks section 5??
Midway UK used to have slide fire stocks for the 15-22 listed, at £500, and recently I see they no longer have them for sale.
Either nobody bought them due to the price, or they thought better of being a test case.
