Two mates have one and i've had a go and was impressed enough to buy my own last week. Their accuracy was spot on so i'm hoping mine will be too. Taking it for its first shoot tomorrow night so i'll report back any problems

Lets hope yours is ok... :good:

I've spoken to the dealer I bought it off today, I told him I can't hit a barn door with it...and that's from inside the barn!
He said he has had one before that wouldn't shoot straight and it went back to the importer and they said there was a problem with barrel and replaced it. So he's arranged for mine to be collected, so we'll see what they find.

I'll keep you posted... :goodjob:

Just to report - no issues with mine. The accuracy was i'd expect from iron sights in my dingy indoor about 3/4" at 20m.

Anyone know if you can get a fibre bead front sight/blade for these guns?

If not i'm tempted to clag a shotgun bead onto the spare front blade you get and use that....

Good to hear that blackstuff....I'd be happy with under an inch at 20m.

nickb834 when the importer exchanged yours did you have to send off for a variation for the new serial number or did they supply a covering letter explaining what they had done to give to your FEO?

Cmmg , I shot one of these a few weeks ago , and achieved a decent group at 25 yards . Your sounds like it has a fault as per the previous posters . I almost bought one of these , but got the Hk 416 instead . Glad I did now just in case !

Take it back to the shop , is it still under warranty ?

It's strictly speaking not a spare it's shorter to give extra adjustment if required!

Oldskool you misunderstood what we are talking about here. My CMMG is perfect, a very accurate rifle even out to 100 yards plus.
It's the HK MP5 we're discussing here and unfortunately it's inaccuracy is probably down to the tensioned barrel system Walther uses which is the same flimsy barrel system that is in your HK416.
Maybe the threads title "HK MP5 A4 (in)accuracy" should of given you a clue.

I had 3 slots for 22 so I got the other added onto me ticket then sent the ticket back to get the original off and get the vacant slot back

I wouldn't mind one of these, but I'd want it with a real suppressor!
Wonder if having a suppressor pinned to the barrel would go down well. (I'd want to keep it to SD size)

think he was referring to your name, not the gun
