That should mean a glued on fibre bead would be more or less at the same height as the standard one thennickb834 wrote:It's strictly speaking not a spare it's shorter to give extra adjustment if required!Blackstuff wrote:Just to report - no issues with mine. The accuracy was i'd expect from iron sights in my dingy indoor about 3/4" at 20m.
Anyone know if you can get a fibre bead front sight/blade for these guns?
If not i'm tempted to clag a shotgun bead onto the spare front blade you get and use that....

Re: HK MP5 A4 (in)accuracy
I think the shorter one is the standard one....the spare is taller and lowers the poi.
Mind you, if yours is accurate with the shorter one, cut the longer one down and add the bead...or paint it with luminous paint..:)

Re: HK MP5 A4 (in)accuracy
Thanks nickb834 for the info. I've used all my slots for .22's so they'll have to come up with another solution if they do replace it...or it's going to be a long wait for a variation..:(
Haha, my bad. Cheers Oldskool, I thought you were dissing the CMMG for a minute...and I love, love, love mine.... :shakeshout:

Mate I've seen cmmgs and they look really really good . I've got one slot left in my fac for 22's and I think it's gonna be one of them .cmmg warrior wrote:Thanks nickb834 for the info. Re: HK MP5 A4 (in)accuracy
I have a CMMG with a 20" barrel, and as much as I love it - it was a fussy bugger to get running right, if I had my time again I'd go Lantac I think.Oldskool wrote:Mate I've seen cmmgs and they look really really good . I guess they seem expensive but if you take a look at http://www.cmmginc.com/category_s/1948.htm they actually work out about straight dollars to pounds which is good considering they are US made, add in taxes, shipping and proofing charges that's pretty good value I reckon.
Look at the price of an M&P 15/22 or an HK416 in the States and you realise with the latter that its shipped from Germany to the US and they still get it at 2/3rds what we pay for them...:(
The great thing about the CMMG is that loads of real steel and airsoft gear fits straight on...so that's a massive plus.
If you find the right ammo they'll run perfectly. They'll gobble up and spit out CCI Mini Mags or Fiochhi all day long.
Plus how cool do they look....
