I had a nitro converted Uberti Navy that still used ball, in front of 3gns of Bullseye. I did chrono it and was unbelievably surprised that velocity was under 650fps! But, it was phenomenally consistent with an ES over 12 rounds of 17fps
In 1978 I was told by my grand dad that the secret to rifle accuracy is, a quality bullet, fired down a quality barrel..... How has that changed?

My Westlake Phoenix uses 32 S&W Long data and 800fps is about its maximum. That gives it about the same ME as the 22lr!
