I had my 257 in it's new (old) stock to give a last run for the year and to fireform some brass for the winter.
My 257 now with a WWII K98 stock - not to everyone’s taste but it does tame the bounce!
The stock adds just over a kilo to the weight and brings to just over 5.6kg (12.3lbs) which is just about right for S-Class. I had a slight technical issue with the stock when the bipod stud pulled loose at 300m, but I still managed to hit a couple of the balloons on the target without the bipod, which was very satisfying!
Last photo looking up at the range flag from the butts - scarcely moved from that position all day.
Excellent day all round. clapclap
