Use an 870 in Manual...though the plan is to also enter a few Std. Div. comps in 2015, with an old A5 (once tricked up)

A well sorted M2 is the bee's knees. I couldn't find a 24" M2 so I bought a 24" Stoeger M3000. Almost the same thing really and half the price.
Think it's 26" .

Keep getting told M2 is t' future, spose I will have to see when it gets back from t' gunsmiths
Nowt wrong with the 26", when it's back come shoot with us up at Rossendale. if we get an early enough start they'll be enough time to get a texas star or two out and some clay launching poppers.
Will do ! I reckon part of this is im used to shooting carbine sized guns that are pretty light , probably need to put 1000 or so shells thru it over the course of a few weekends to get the feel of it a bit more .

Why did you buy the Saiga over the Vepr? I put both side by side and I was put off by the way you plug the mag in to the gun, it rocks in like an AK, whereas the Vepr slots in like an AR. I haven't bought one yet, but I am certainly leaning towards the Vepr, just curious why you went the other way.

Drum mags look awesome!
