Cold this morning

#1 Post by ovenpaa »

Wahhh... -4.5C through the back lanes this morning, it had me cursing a couple of times and just look at those chicken strips on the back tyre, normally I can run it off the edge of the tyre but not this morning

I scraped the car off for the wife at 0830 and the car showed -5!
I don't fancy standing around in that for 12 hours tomorrow,

Stag on!

I can heartily recommend Helly Hansen thermals, very warm under normal trousers if you are standing around in cold weather, down side is they look like black tights from a distance so best not to drop your trousers in company.

In a way glad shooting was cancelled today, I for sure would not have gone and I am glad Ovenpaa didn't. Gosh he would have been cold and worn out after such a day. Read cranky.

I gritted my drive and my teeth today...no point moaning.

Got my macro lens this AM.

It works. I had to RTFM ounce or twice. ;)

No shooting, resting grumpy back....Groan.

Minus 7 this morning, never ever seen that sort of temperature in this country at the end of November.

-5 this morning on top of the little bit of snow we've had. Anybody needing a bit extra?
