Rimfire Magic Rifle

#1 Post by DG68 »

I'm wondering if anyone owns a rimfire magic .22 rifle from SYSS? I'm just on the verge of buying my first rifle (tomorrow hopefully) and I've just been and had a look at one.
Does anyone own one and use it regularly for target shooting? I'd welcome some feedback.

Cheers.

I can heartily recommend Rogers work and would be advised by him on the suitability of any purchase from him.

That's good to know, I went in intending to buy a CZ or Ruger bolt action but when I was shown the custom gun by Sheila I had a sudden change of heart!

Another vote for Roger and Sheila, they are super people to deal with and Roger has to the 'go to' man for knowledge in the UK when it comes to 10/22. I did speak to Sheila in the week and she said Roger was a bit under the weather so it is probably worth checking he is around before heading over.

Thanks for that, I went over this morning to have a look and spoke to Sheila, they are 20 mins from my house so it's no big deal. I'll be going back in the morning with some money burning a hole in my pocket, hopefully Roger will be there to have a word with.

I've been buying guns from Roger and Sheila for over 20 years, I've had three custom builds from him and I would not hesitate in buying a forth...
In 1978 I was told by my grand dad that the secret to rifle accuracy is, a quality bullet, fired down a quality barrel..... How has that changed?

Roger and Sheila are lovely people who care about what they sell and those who buy from them, if you're going back tomorrow make sure you have time on your hands as Roger can talk all day.

Where do you shoot DG? I'm not far from them too.
Several shooters at my club have Rimfire magic guns and I've never heard a bad word said

I shoot at Wakefield Demonic but I work in Mexborough so SYSS is literally just down the road. I'll give myself plenty of time in the morning, after all the positive feedback on here I'll be buying one of the Rimfire magic guns!
