Forum rules
Posting of negative comments in the Gunshop section could bring unwanted criticism on the forum, having said that it is important to let members know if dealings with a Gunshop were less than ideal for you. To that end we will allow what will be known as the 'Scotsgun Ruling'

The Scotsgun Ruling:

>Add Gun Shop here<

"As I've yet to have a 'positive' experience there, I'll refrain from commenting further."

Beyond that please take it up with the Gunshop, if you do resolve the issue in a agreeable manner let us know!

This rule applies to the entire forum.

Having spent a good part of 2014 calling on the phone & e-mailing them to try to buy a used Anschutz 54 stock, all I can add to the previous post is:

Oh dear how sad what a shame never mind

No sympathy. Sent our TR to them for rebarrelling, it took over a year to complete (after they sent it to Fultons) and it came back with no rearsight. Still no idea where that could have got to.

heard via another reputable gun shop around Coulsdon that they are closed down. Apparently the owner had some issues. i have dealt with them before and not impressed, bought a match 54 - they sold me with bolt serial number and barrel serial number mismatch which resulted in headspace issues, had to drive all the way again from near Reading to get it sorted...what a waste of time and money for a schoolboy error

Sad to hear of another gun business going under but from posts here it seems as if it should not have come as a surprise. In today's world, in any business, the customer is king and if you don't give him what he wants, when he wants it and at a price he wants to pay, then someone else surely will.
