Hello all
Been shooting over 50 years now, only past few into rifles keeping rabbits & foxes off shoot.
Fowling my main passion with BIG bores & into clays as well but not as competitive as used to be years ago
I pick up with 3 dogs up to 50 days a season so keep active.
Shoot every Saturday in the season on 2 local shoots.
Well that's enough from me i want to read more on 17 hmr's.

A common mistake that people make when trying to design something completely foolproof is to underestimate the ingenuity of complete fools!!

Hello
Hi Fenman,
I don't do 17 HMR as I much prefer the .222.

Welcome to the forum Fenman. I am another paper puncher, all I can say about the 17hmr is wow what an accurate round, I only tried it at 25m and was amazed by it's lack of recoil and ability. Has the ammunition got any cheaper yet?
