70 years ago today Bomber command dropped its' last bomb on Germany. This photograph may be a picture of that bomb.

Dammit of course I meant 70 years... lol lol :oops: I'm afraid I have 1915 very much on my mind at the moment I'm currently reading 'Footprints of 1/4th Leicestershire Regt.' yet again. My grandfather and great uncle served with the battalion. Great Uncle William being Killed at Loos 13th Oct 1915. incidentally my BSA SMLE is dated 1915.

The Mosquito must be one of the most elegant bombers ever made, and the two Merlin's gave it a superb sound .... not to mention a good turn of speed. shakeshout
