I killed a strike fire 1, then killed a strike fire 2 lent to me.
The 1 basically wouldn't power on, the 2 the inner tube dropped inside the housing.

I have a Bushnell TRS on Saiga 12 for a dogs age (still has original battery )
Also put one on my BR when I first got it. No problems to date. (I was one of the first people to get one)

EOtech 516. Got mine for a 'bargain' here; http://www.tactical-kit.co.uk/eotech-129-c.asp They often have offers on and ex-display models for ~£300.
Before that i had a Sightmark Ultrafire QD, similar reticle to the EOtech (but has the benefit of 4 different reticle patterns) and you can get them for sub £100 if you're willing to do some surfing.
