Wanted - handful of Lapua .308 Subs
Has anyone got a few Lapua 200gr .308 Subsonic bullets spare? I would like to try a few before I place an order, I am happy to swap them for something else

I should have some cast in a couple of months, give me time for the mould to arrive, so I can let you have some of them then.

That looks very interesting and .311" cast is OK in a .308?

Should be standard sizing and that boolit is designed for the 308, still as always slug you bore.

OOOH ! Big, heavy boolits, slow and 30 cal too ! We like it... We wonder how they might do in our AIA 7.62x39 carbine. Makes mental note to contact Dromia once the mould has been commissioned...

If you do decide to order these Davy, I'd buy 200 to boost the order.ovenpaa wrote:Has anyone got a few Lapua 200gr .308 Subsonic bullets spare? I would like to try a few before I place an order, I am happy to swap them for something else

Re: Wanted - handful of Lapua .308 Subs
Is there any advantage in the lapua over cast boolits for subsonic work ? We would have thought cast lead was quite adequate for subsonics...

I don't know, but I prefer to use jacketed bullets.
