#1 Post by Classic Rifles »

Hi guys,

Got directed here from another forum in my quest for hunting down some GP11 ammunition (by idge)! I've not been shooting for a hugely long time (Around 4 years) but I've amassed a reasonable collection of interesting kit I think :) I've got a variety of rifles but I'm mainly interested in service ones. I've currently got a Lee Enfield, Mosin Nagant 91/30 and a K31 with a K98 in the pipeline. I did have 2 Mosin Nagants at one point (The M38 carbine), but couldn't justify feeding both of them ammunition with how much it costs ;) Not quite started reloading yet, I have all of the kit, I just haven't found the time to clean out the garage to get myself set up  But my lightening wallet should put an end to that soon!

Thanks for the welcome guys. I've not phoned him actually, the problem would be how much it is to get it sent up to my RFD. I live in Liverpool so that'd be a real flog for me to go down there, and the petrol cost alone would offset any savings I'd make

And ovenpaa, is that Danish I see in your signature?

have you tried Kranks? Marginally closer I guess. Yes that is Danish in my signature. Christel our forum Administrator is Danish hence being referred to as the Viking on occasion, and I am married to her.

Checked their site a few times recently and I only believe he stocks factory stuff in the form of Prvi. I have around 60 rounds of that at the moment which I'll slowly work through until I can find GP11, or I'll stick to Prvi if I can't.

I feel all smug now figuring that out, but then again my girlfriend's Danish so I'd get scalded if I didn't... :)

What about having it shipped out?
From one rfd to another, I am guessing £20 for 30 kilos.

Please correct me if I am wrong!

You have no excuses then, I have a feeling you are the 5th/6th forum member with some form of direct Danish contact, ah well they do say London is the second largest Danish city and Liverpool has it's fair share as well. My Danish is limited to talking to one of the dogs.
