I do that too, but it comes off to release a mag also (I have no choice with a buckmark and with the K22, the ambi release was too short).bradaz11 wrote:it would work better if you used your index finger on the trigger

Our frame is not at the Glock angle............
Tacsol did some of the R&D work for us hence why the prototype has that on there.

Re: Glock LBP
Is there a release date for them yet? I think they'll prove very popular, the LBP market is definately growing and with the events that the NRA is putting on I think we could really see a resurgence in interest from both old & new shooters in practical pistol, particularly at club level and this can only be good for our sport.
My hope is that LBP ownership & popularity rises, which leads to .22lr pistols being recategorised as sec 1, which in turn leads to .22lr conversions being common place which allows traveling shooters to have fullbore slides & barrels for use in europe etc... I Know, I know once a sec 5 always a sec 5 etc... I didn't say I'd thought this through.

From my perspective they look interesting, but... it all depends on price. I'd hope they'd be around £830. I'd suggest they're priced to sell in that price bracket, around £900 they're starting to look expensive. I fully appreciated other opinions will vary, but for me (and I think most) it's a fun gun and should be priced accordingly. If they look expensive I'm more likely to pay the extra and opt for the Sig, which is a lovely LBP IMO.
Re: Glock LBP
Opt for the Sig? Do any of those actually work?
In 1978 I was told by my grand dad that the secret to rifle accuracy is, a quality bullet, fired down a quality barrel..... How has that changed?

I'd stick with my TSC 1911. Yes, it took a small amount of work out of the box (a bit of polish, and an uprated spring) but it's been faultless since. In my typical way, i've since upgraded it extensively. I'd buy another one too, and have one for irons, and one for optics.
That being said, i'm all for the development of any and all LBP's. I may not be a Glock guy, or a Sig, or a K22.. and am a huge 1911 fan (I've got 5 in different guises!).. but the more choice the better!
Speaking of all this pistol goodness.. we have a Bianchi match and a full on practical pistol match at Bisley on the 8th / 9th August. We still have spaces on both days, and they should both be good days. I'm helping out to RO on both days, so come on down and enjoy the fun :)

Re: Glock LBP
Selling my K22 bought it on a whim & have decided I haven't got the time or the inclination to get any good with it, I'm a rifle shooter at heart.
Re: Glock LBP
I've certainly seen a few videos where they look like they work just fine.

Most posts around t'interweb seems to indicate that they spend more time going back and forward for warranty repairs and "putting right" than anything else....
