Never seen one advertised anywhere Tovarisch, probably loads sat in Bundeswehr depots covered in Cosmoline :bad:

Thanks for the positive opinions guys :good: .I am also working on a steel AK mag for it as well.

I've been fancying one for ages, it's just the lack of spares putting me off tbh

If you find one with a couple of mags I'd go for it, new firing pins and extractors can be made and the rest of the rifle is very simple.

Next on the project list will be to see if original AK handguards and a gastube can be modded to fit.The Armi-Jager faux gastube is a bit long as the "gas block" sits further forward than on an actual AK but I'm not in a rush to do anything else yet, I'll wait and see what bits come by.

There isn't I'm afraid, I have a habit of stripping things and refurbing them and realising I didn't take any before pics.Im the same with cars, bikes, engines etc

The wood is a lot darker now than it was, it was very light blonde. The cleaning rod is made from a cutdown AK cleaning rod I had floating about. The handy thing was the fact the receiver is aluminium with a stamped steel cover that can be removed so it made stripping and spraying the steel outer cover much easier.

I know, you don't mean to start anything, you do something like undo a screw or nut. Next thing you know said item is completely dismantled. lol
