Does the NRA Target Shotgun Introduction Course fulfil the requirement for a L3 Match?

Technically no, but also technically yes
If you ask F4I/NRA you don't need the UKPSA Competition licence to compete in IPSC L3; according to IPSC rules anyone can compete so long as their current IPSC chairperson grants them permission to compete.
The UKPSA won't allow anyone to compete in Level 3 matches who hasn't passed their safety course with sufficient skill to attain a comp licence.

If the NRA were to win the bid I assume they'd do away with this requirement but, as they provide their own course, I'm not convinced.

Get yourself up the M6 to Carlisle Small Arms Club and give it a try If you email Vanessa Duffy vduffy16@aol.com she'll be able to tell you when the next match is on there (or at Crocketford if you're will to go a bit further) The only issue at the moment is the World shoot incoming up and everything is on hold at the moment for that (and a big shoot at Dartford in a fortnight). 4wd or car with good ground clearance required to get up the track.

Sounds like a good excuse to get rid of the normal car and buy another pickup.

Look on the NRA website at http://www.nra.org.uk/ and you will find details of all the NRA Target Shotgun and Practical Shotgun matches together with entry forms.

There is no requirement to join any ‘special club” to participate (not even the NRA!).
