Er.....not sure about it from the trailer.

Still remember the day it was on the TV News that "Walker" had died....I feel this may go the way of the last Carry On re-make

Although I grew up on this, I think the casting on this film is exceptional. :good:

Cast looks good, but historically 1944 on the brink of defeat? I was taught O level history and whilst in 1940 we were on the brink of defeat, but in 1944 we invaded Europe, had driven the Germans and Italians out of North Africa, were half way up Italy had won the war in the Atlantic and were bombing Germany daily. No wonder the millenials have such a limited grasp of history. So long as they are entertained not educated I guess they don't worry?

There is some recent argument that the V weapons esp. the V2 & the potential of what the V3 could do damage wise may have been a game changer.
Likewise if the Normandy invasion had failed....who knows?

But yip - 1944 - cannot have been THAT bad a threat as the Hone Guard were disbanded that year!!

I have a feeling it will be rich on cast but thin on plot.
If the trailer was a true taste of the movie I'll not be seeing it

The originals are being shown from the beginning on BBC2 at the weekends, thus week will be episode 3 so I'm sure the first 2 will be on catch up for those interested.
Looking forward to the film, should be a good bit of fun "they don't like it up em"
