Scope suitable for indoor gallery ranges

Hi folks, looking for advice on rimfire scopes used mainly for indoor gallery shooting (25m), with occasional shooting at 50m and 100m outdoors for my CZ 452. I've used a couple of different scopes and the main problem I've found is that I cannot for the life of me get any of them to focus at 25m when using >4 magnification. I've used a Nikko Sterling 3-9x40 that was given to me and a Redfield Revolution 4-12x40. The only scope I've got on with is my Simmons 1-5x20 which I use mainly for my Marlin underlever and haven't been lucky enough to find another second hand one at a decent price for some time now.

These are some of the scopes that I've looked at, which are popular according to some forums, for but I'm not sure whether I'll get the same problems or not. If anyone has any of these scopes could you let me know what experience you've had?

Also, any general recommendations of scopes suitable for this range?

I regularly use a Leapers UTG at 10x and a Hawke AO at 6x indoors at 25 yards without any problems.

Focussing down to 25m is a problem with quite a few scope.

After doing a little reading it seems there are quite a few different scopes with an Adjustable Objective which can adjust parralax from 9m to infinity. I guess this is what I'm looking.

Probably overkill on a .22 but I had a couple of Trijicon Acogs that I got at a reasonable price and was going to move them on.

But then, I put one on my AR just to see how it looked and I loved it. So, that is what I use now. Fantastic glass and no problem using it at any range.

And it just looks "right" on my AR, in my humble opinion.

Yep, I agree. They look the part on AR type rifles but not sure it would look that great on a CZ 452

The ones I've seen (not a lot) seem to come with iron sights. Wouldn't that work better at 25m ?

Yep, mine is the lux and therefore has the iron sights as standard. Main reason is that there's a scoped rim fire competition at this club therefore I'd like to get a decent scope that works for 25m shooting.

Yep the adjustable objective is great for Gallery Rifle - I use Bushnell scopes without illuminated reticules...I've got a 4-12 x40 on my lever action and a 6 - 16 x 40 on my .22...the front adjustment is easy to use when moving between 10, 15, 20, 25 and 50m...though in hindsight I wish I'd gone for 4-12 on my .22 as well, as x6 is a little too much for 10m.
