Re: Section1 pump action
Seems that there are a lot of FEO's in the UK that are NOT aware of the word of law/& RULES for the FAC Conditions.
This is a cut & paste from the 2015 Home Office Guidance
Appendix 3
1. Quarry Shooting (for vermin, fox or deer) (this is on page 232)
• The *calibre RIFLE/COMBINATION/SMOOTH-BORE GUN/SOUND MODERATOR and
ammunition shall be used for shooting vermin including fox, and ground game/ deer (delete as
appropriate) and any other lawful quarry, and for zeroing on ranges, on land deemed suitable by
the chief officer of police for the area where the land is situated and over which the holder has
lawful authority to shoot.
(The words underlined may be omitted once the certificate holder has demonstrated competence.
There is no set time for this and each case should be considered on its individual merits).
Automatic Condition for Section 1 Shotguns for Clay Pigeon Shooting (once
“good reason” for possession has been demonstrated)
• The *calibre SMOOTH-BORE GUN may also be used for CLAY PIGEON SHOOTING.
11. Target Shooting – Shotguns (this is on page 234)
• The SMOOTH-BORE GUN/SOLID SLUG shall be used for practical target shooting:
(a) The smoothbore gun(s) to which this certificate relates shall be used for target shooting

Re: Section1 pump action
I really cannot see why people are not that bothered when some stuff is "missed" from their FAC and they just shrug and think they'll leave it to next time - when there may not be a next time the way these departments work.
If there's a mistake get it sorted immediately, do NOT allow these arbitrary self made rules to become the norm. People are their own worst enemy when they do that IMO

Political Correctness is the language of lies, written by the corrupt , spoken by the inept!
