Not strictly related, but rather than add another 15-22 thread to the board I thought I'd ask in this one...

I was looking at buying an aluminium charging handle for my 15-22 & found two options. 1) NDZ but unfortunately they won't post to the UK & I can't find any stockists over here, 2) Plinker Tactical, actually prefer this option but again availability is scarce. Have found 4 shops but 3 are out of stock & the 4th are wanting £45 which I presume is without P&P. I also get the impression (plenty US stores out of stock too) that they may of stopped making them?

Can anyone suggest either another store/method to buy one, or does anyone know of another brand that sell them in the UK?

Thanks in advance, Steve.

I paid £48 for my last one excl P&P, they don't make these anymore, so get one while you can.

Tacticool22 used to sell an aluminum charging handle and would have shipped to the UK, but they're out of stock.

They worth the money? £45 is a lot, do you notice the difference as well or you just paying for the fact it'll last longer than the polymer stock one? Also if they're so poplar how come they've stopped making them?
Also fancy the Magpul B.A.D. lever & doing the bend mod to make it fit, you any experience with these?

They're good, I've had 2, one on each of my 15-22s. For me an essential mod as the plastic charging handle can twist if you're aggressive with it.
Plinker Tactical got sued by magpul I believe. The they were left with rimfire products during the worst rimfire shortage in the USA for years.
Never bothered with a bad lever on a 15-22, slap it.

Ah ok, makes sense & seem to recall reading something now you mention it. So £48 delivered is worth the punt you think?
As for the B.A.D. lever I could slap it but that's not very tacticool now is it lol

I have a NDZ Custom BAD lever on mine (thanks SimG), built for the M&P so you don't need to bend it.

Very happy with it, but did need some loctite on the screw to stop it vibrating loose.
