Hi folks looking for a bit of advice.
I just bought a Martini Hnery MK4 and would like to shoot it but I don't want to load it with smokeless powder as for a start it seems more of a hassle than loading with BP.
But to buy black powder in the UK that's where Im getting a bit confused.
Can someone put it into layman's terms what i need to do to both transport and load BP.
Thanks and sorry if this is a silly question.

Re: Using Black Powder in the UK Guidelines
You get an explosives certificate from you local firearms licensing department, they will need to inspect you storage box and its location but the certificate is free of cost. Previously you then had to send of the certificate to the Health and Safety executive for a Recipient Competent Authority document to allow you to transfer the powder the certificate allows you to acquire.
Nowadays however the two come together so all you need to do is apply to firearms licensing for a certificate and it will come with the RCA on the reverse side.
I suspect that it is the old circumstances that is confusing things for you.
