Anyone tried these "new" offerings from Eley?
I've bought some Contact to try in my 10-22 and Buckmark LBP.
Anyone tried Eley Contact and Eley Force

Used Eley Force in my 15-22.
Shoot ok, but only when hand loaded into mag. Bullets come loose when loaded with a quick mag loader resulting in loads failures to load.
Appear to be fairly clean burning compared to cheap ammo, accuracy in my rifle was fine.
Bullets are covered in a very thick wax which I think causes the mag loading problem.

Haven't used either, but seen some guys use Eley Force without issue, not a fan of the black cases though, can make it hard for those with poor sight/sloppy safety check drills to make sure the chamber is empty.

I won't be trying them, too expensive compared to CCI.

Re: Anyone tried Eley Contact and Eley Force
Spent an afternoon comparing Eley Force, RWS Semi-Auto and Mini-mag and found the Eley a bit tighter than RWS which was a bit tighter than the CCI. For general purpose the CCI is good enough but for LSR and anything more precision the RWS and Eley might have the edge (no pun intended). All cycled through my Sig, Lantac, ISSC & 10/22.
I would concur with the black finish of the Eley being a problem for safety checking though.
