new kidd on the block.
Well how do to all! I'm a 35 year old ex pistol shooter, now enjoying gallery rifle, full bore plinking! On occaision and black powder now and again.I also hunt crows pigeons and fox and rabbit. Fed up with the attitudes of people on another forum, hoping attitudes are more level headed and the arguments more balanced.
When someone says "it's not about the money" you know what? it probably is all about money!

Hello the running man,
Welcome to the forum. I do hope you join in all the banter we have here.
We are a very laid back bunch.

Welcome to the F-B(UK) Forum RM, the forum is very easy going and for the most self regulating and healthy discussions are invariably ended amicably. (Famous last words! )
We also have a good spread of shooting disciplines here as well so with your background you should be able to join in quite comfortably in all areas.

Good! It is quiet here today so I think we are in need of something controversial to post about.the running man wrote:Thanks, just been poking round, think ile like it here!

Heh! I did wonder which forum it was, sadly the majority of UK shooting forums seem to have issues of some form or other and in that respect F-B(UK) is very good and for the vast majority of the time totally self moderating. It is an unusual concept and I am not sure how it happened but it seems to work for us. People do get in a tiz but then they seem to calm down again very quickly . I cannot remember the last time a Moderator had to step in and do something and I think that is a good thing. We are lucky to have a couple of very good Mods plus the Viking to guide.
We did have some melt downs in the early days and the forum is still a newbie by many standards and I like the relaxed attitude of the forum members. It has been a good first six months or so
If that is not a virtual kiss on the cheek for the team then I don't know what is
