I use a 1-4, but I'd love an ACOG.
Tbh on my cz I've got a 3-9x42 which seems perfect for the rifle tbh

The Vortex 2.5-10 scopes are good at these distances, range from about £330-650 depending which model you buy. The mid range PST has a fairly thin MOA reticle which is good for short to medium distances, 2 versions of one has parallax adjustment and is FFP and the other is cheaper with fixed parallax and SFP.

Thanks for your comments. I just ordered a Sightron Tac 4-12x40 AO from OpticsPlanet in the US and the scope was only $195,00 (~£125), I bought an extra set of rings plus shipping boosted the total cost to around £180 which works out to be cheaper than importing from EU stores.

Parallax can be set from 10yards to infinity. Made in the Phillipines (just like me Simmons 1.5-5x20 so expecting good clarity!) It has clickable turrets too which should be nice and had good reviews over at OpticsPlanet.

I'll give this scope a review when it eventually gets here.

Hi folks, my order from OpticsPlanet in the US was cancelled almost imediately because it was forbidden from export. Bit of a shame, but I ended up ordering from Optics Trade (http://www.optics-trade.eu/). I was told that the scope was not in stock and would take 2-4 weeks to arrive from the US. I was happy with this as I was in the process of refinishing my CZ's stock (new thread to come for that) so wouldn't make much difference to me.

The scope arrived yesterday which brings us to the three week mark which included 4 business day shipping from Slovenia, so I'm more than happy with the service. Milica was very helpful and responded to all e-mails, and also kept me in the loop regarding the status of the shipment.

If I get my butt into gear I'll get a nice review and pictures up for this scope. Short summary, took it to the 25m indoor range yesterday and it was great. I could use the adjustable objective to parallax down to 25m and this worked great even at x12 magnification. After zero-ing the scope I was pretty chuffed with the grouping afterwards. Looking forward to spending more time with this bangbang

If you find a scope you really like which cannot focus down to 25m it is usually possible with care to adjust the parallax yourself, it is certainly possible on the leupold as I have done one myself down to 20m.

I'd like to know this too! I know it's possible as I've read on a couple of US forums that Leupold have adjusted customers parallax upon request.

Also, I now realise that my review of the scope is long overdue...

The popularity of the 452 is nothing new; a large percentage of bolt action .22 owners I know have this rifle :D

They shoot well, we bought one for our club recently and it shoots very accurately.

Seemingly not quite as well as my Sako though, I'm not sure I've heard anyone shoot a Poss at 25 yards with it, yet. :D
