I see both companies offer a left side charging forend for the Bora BR99 - Which is the best to go for and why ?

Will go for one or the other but would like help if any members have experiance of these forends

I have no experience with the FP forend, but if their lower receiver is anything to go by it'll be well made.

That said the T&N forend is also well made and i've seen several in action in UK comps, including my own.

Both, AFAIK, are designed for the MKA1919, not the BR99, therefore tinkering is required. There are two known fixes to get the T&N forend to fit snugly, i haven't heard anyone mention a fix for the FP forend.

The T&N is going to suffer with slight rotation of the forend on the standard BR99 however it can be fixed. You can add an angle clamp type rail across the junction of the receiver rail to forend rail, add a split bushing or O ring to the barrel to tighten things up or add a pin between the receiver and forend. I have no experience of the FB front ends.

Can't recommend the TnN at all, I broke mine and it never fit right in the first place.

Were you able to just order direct from thr US or are you getting the stuff from Jon Axe/Cobra?

Looks like the FP handguard comes with end caps for bother ends of the handguard, so will hopefully not have the fitting issues the T&N one does

I have ordered it direct from the states - And yes the fitting looks better. Specially milled end plate, but we will once fitted
