Hello from the South West

#1 Post by Livefast »

Hello all,

Finally joined the forum after a few weeks browsing and getting lots of useful info! Currently a vermin \ club shooter with the usual .22lr \ .44 Mag carbine etc. I'm looking to gain knowledge of longer range target shooting.

I have a love of WW2 rifles so am looking to get myself set up with a No4 Enfield or a Mosin, depending on how many pennies I can save up and the wife lets me spend!

A Bristolian with a Welsh accent.....obviously turned the wrong way at the bridge!

Just put my .303 and 7.62x54 variations in, so hopefully won't be too long. Seems like the Lee and Mosin are popular, I like the idea of being able to shoot a piece of history plus my grandfather fought witn a Lee in WW2 before a Mauser scraped his knee!

Learning about what to look for with these rifles is a skill by itself. I shot a mint Mosin at the club a few days ago and it was gorgeous!
