Rab,mate-I do not need beer bottle opener(if you done your bit in the right Army),my top cover with rude scope is held by extra rubber band and having barrel only one foot long fig.12 target at 300m is in my reach,most of the time.For precise job I will go for 6.5mm,like Grendel.Just my 2 cents

polemass it's okay I get it now mate. You have a rifle held together with rubber bands with a 12 inch barrel that will sometimes, but not all the time, because the scope is rude, hit a fig 12 target at 300m. Have I got that right?
Hey mate do yourself a favour, stick with your 6.5 rifle. You shouldn't have to take abuse from a scope

Rab......this is a genuine question, have you ever actually put a decent number of rounds through an AK yourself?.Quite a few people have shot my two and have been quite surprised at how accurate they are for what they are and a few of them have bought one themselves.
