Marlin, 1892. Actually made in 1892! One of three that I own and probably the best shooter of the three. It's probably been refinished half a dozen times in its life. Got a Winchester butt on it, had four holes drilled in the receiver and four into the top of the barrel (four separate scope blocks had been fitted!) oh, and the barrel's been sleeved!


Took an age to find all if the parts needed to get it up and running, with those who remember Blu, he managed to find me the most elusive!

Only ever shoot subs through it because of that 124 year old steel, but it's now certainly a keeper!

The earlier "Type A" F.N. take-downs are a lot more streamlined

Winchester Model 1903 manufactured c.1908. Barrel sleeved in later life to chamber .22LR.
