Right so, ive got one. Don't get to shoot it anymore because im nearly always too busy.
anyone know what a reasonable asking price is? my model has wooden furniture and one 100rd mag.
the reason im not posting this in the sale section is because im just doing some research at the minute..
Cheers

There's one on guntrader for £500, plastic with one mag.
Re: Calico m100
I saw that last night, but I saw one for £1800 last year so im not sure how realistic that is.
Re: Calico m100
Seen one go for £395 before on guntrader, you can ask whatever you want, but it's what people are prepared to pay that counts.

I seem to remember they did a 9mm version too, but "only" a 50 rd mag...

A few problems, primarily the sensitive magazines which could break or jam quite easily, oh and which had the iron sights ON the magazines themselves. Personally I love the way they look, but I've always had a soft spot for 'ugly' machines.the running man wrote:Calico was gonna be the next ar platform in the 80s...great idea 100 round mag

They did a 100 round magazine for the 9mm Pistol/Carbine/SMG/Rifle variants as well. Very rare and apparently not as reliable as the 50 round magazines.Daryll wrote:I seem to remember they did a 9mm version too, but "only" a 50 rd mag...

I remember about 10 years ago two being up for sale for under £500. It depends on who's selling them at the time, I suppose.BamBam wrote:Seen one go for £395 before on guntrader, you can ask whatever you want, but it's what people are prepared to pay that counts.

A guy at our club had a 100 round 9mm pistol version, I always remember it becausebe fashioned a stock for it from a set of NHS crutches!
I nearly bought one last year at £300 but decided not to as I could tell it would better suit an "enthusiast"

The company was effectively killed by the "assault weapons" ban in the US under Clinton.the running man wrote:Calico was gonna be the next ar platform in the 80s...great idea 100 round mag

There's one at my indoor club for sale with the plastic (although it looks more like bakelite) furniture and one magazine for £295 (I think, it was definitely under £300). Its quite beaten up though.
