Just grabbed some dimensions and I would have thought this would do the trick, I am out with the rifle Friday so I will machine one to confirm it works, it should be easy enough to make a handful :)

Ok Ovenpa if you do get some made then I'm in the market for one please
Re: Anschütz 520 versus 525
Here it is with the spring safely back in place, I can understand why a tool is needed.
Not the prettiest of rifles however I am rather attached to this one. When it arrived it had a full length barrel and looked like it had been through the wars. It was stripped, thoroughly cleaned and the barrel chopped back to 12.5" stock finish removed and a quick coat of stain and oil added and job done.
Cost wise, well not a lot :)
Jobs left, swap out the butt plate maybe and I am tempted to stipple the hand grips as the original pressure chequering leaves a lot to be desired. Of course I could just get out and shoot it

Looks good Ovenpa - very happy tonight managed to replace my broken bolt handle with a genuine Anschutz replacement without taking the bolt out and fighting with the spring!
Re: Anschütz 520 versus 525
The bolt handle is one thing I am not overly happy with as it can be awkward to access with gloved hands on a cold evening so I am thinking of fitting a straight 'Tactical' type bolt handle, the problem is to keep the weight down so it does not impede the operation however it is worth trying.
