Did anyone see Scott/CCA at the Northern Shooting Show on the 7th/8th May? Just wondering as it's been over a month since I last heard from him regarding my trying to order a K22...

Re: Caledonian Classic Arms
I had a good chat with Scott at the Northern Show and had a good look at his K22 LBP - very nice - this is the one I'd go for if I was in the market for a rimfire LBP.Blue Lizard wrote:Did anyone see Scott/CCA at the Northern Shooting Show on the 7th/8th May? Re: Caledonian Classic Arms
I did. He was cursing suppliers and export licence issues. He was almost embarrassed to be at the show without having stuff for folks to buy. He seemed genuinely apologetic to those waiting for orders.Blue Lizard wrote:Did anyone see Scott/CCA at the Northern Shooting Show on the 7th/8th May? Ah, good to know they're still on the go - I would've gone to see him at the show but was away on hols at the time. I don't mind waiting if their suppliers are slow, but it would be nice to get a confirmation on him receiving my order.

Re: Caledonian Classic Arms
Just had my pistol returned to me by hand after an adjustment to alter the slide release so it locks back more reliably (they had a bunch of slide releases that has the wrong angle cut into them at the factory), all done for free despite it being over a year since I purchased it.
Great service and lovely people.

Good to hear; I've heard lots of good experiences and recommendations from folks who have had dealings with CCA and I'm eager to get into LBP shooting myself. I don't mind waiting if stock availability is slow, but I just wish Scott would confirm that he's got my order details for a K22, as it's now over 5 weeks since I last heard from him...

Re: Caledonian Classic Arms
I saw Scott today, he's extremely tired and working like a dog to get everything done.
They're not the best at communicating sometimes, great kit and great service but everything takes a while.
Feroza is better than Scott at communications, Scott is mostly too busy hands on to pick up the phone and they've had no landline or Internet for three months now thanks to BT....

Re: Caledonian Classic Arms
They have had problems with communication for years (down to BT by all accounts), when you can get hold of them they are very nice people to deal with. Its a shame they get let down by their suppliers ( I've given up on seeing the 9mm MARS released this year) because they do try to their best for the customers.
