Posting of negative comments in the Gunshop section could bring unwanted criticism on the forum, having said that it is important to let members know if dealings with a Gunshop were less than ideal for you. To that end we will allow what will be known as the 'Scotsgun Ruling'

The Scotsgun Ruling:

"As I've yet to have a 'positive' experience there, I'll refrain from commenting further."

Beyond that please take it up with the Gunshop, if you do resolve the issue in a agreeable manner let us know!

Alan Rhone - scoperail

#1 Post by bewildered »

I wanted a new scope rail for my Tikka T3 to give me more elevation. I found Alan Rhone in Wrexham on ebay then called him yesterday (01978 660001). I spoke to a very nice young lady called Felicity who sorted me out and the steel rail arrived this morning. Made in Italy by Contessa and now fitted.
Great service.

I have used them in the past, always great service. Interestingly if they report zero stock check their eBlag listings as they are often shown in stock and shipped same day.

I ordered a Recknagel 20 MOA rail for Tikka T3 at 15:00 yesterday and had it in my hands at 10:00 this morning in northern Scotland.

Super service/product.

Excellent service from Alan Rhone and he employs a first rate Liege trained genuine gunsmith who has the ability to mount just about any scope to any rifle.
Not the cheapest but certainly one of the very best.
