Winchester Target P14 7.62x51 swp Schmidt Rubin K31 7.5x55
I am strongly considering the purchase of a Schmidt Rubin 7.5x55 pref a K31. If any participants have one or have any advice I would appreciate it. I have contacted a couple of the 'usual suspects' that have these. Looking for a tidy one with a good bore, max budget £450.
Might be interested in p/x or sale of my Winchester P14 target rifle which is chambered for 7.62x51 and has a hammer forged 27" barrel with tunnel fore sight to take interchangeable elements and a diopter rear sight marked Alf J Parker Birmingham also has the original battle sight fitted I also have a No Gunsmith piccatiny adapter which I will throw in. This has a four round integral magazine which does feed rounds but is best considered a single or two shot cap for reliability unless you want to spend some time to get it to work better. I did fit it with a 'new' extractor arm which extracts faultlessly on full length resized cartridges. Bore appears very bright to the eye with good clear rifling but have not bores coped it. Nice dark wood with a raised cheek comb and a butt extension taking LOP to 14 1/4" front middle and rear sling swivels and comes with a webbing sling. Not sure how to upload pics so PM if you are interested. £200.00 will RFD if required at cost.
Thanks, Graham.

I suggest that you split your advert into two as it is neither fish nor fowl as it currently stands. Really the advert should be pulled as it is a want to buy in the for sale section with a trade that also could be a for sale, make it complicated for people or what, KISS.
Do a WTB for the Schimdt Rubin and a For Sale for the P14 mentioning that you would consider a part PX with your P14 with a link to its for sale ad.
Pictures are really a must if you want to sell something, there are stickies on here telling you how to upload and insert pictures.

Not wishing to distract from your sales thread but could you let me know where you got the extractor from, I need one for my p14.

Thank you Dromia, I almost added the sale of the P14 as an after though having entered the comment on the SR. As it is one of the lads at the club has offered me a LE No4 Mk2 with all the bits so I have found a CSR to fit the bill. I will amend accordingly. The problem with the upload seems to be that even using the smallest file density on cameras or phones the system says the files are too big.

There are plenty of free photo edit softwares around for resing digital photographs easily, my personal favourites are Irfanview for microshite and Fotoxx for Linux.
