Gun Shop Roulette

Had a good experience with a gun shop or rifle maker? Found a good deal? Tell us about it. Had a bad experience, TELL THE GUN SHOP!

Forum rules
Posting of negative comments in the Gunshop section could bring unwanted criticism on the forum, having said that it is important to let members know if dealings with a Gunshop were less than ideal for you. To that end we will allow what will be known as the 'Scotsgun Ruling'

The Scotsgun Ruling:

>Add Gun Shop here<

"As I've yet to have a 'positive' experience there, I'll refrain from commenting further."

Beyond that please take it up with the Gunshop, if you do resolve the issue in a agreeable manner let us know!

This rule applies to the entire forum.

Hmmm.... We worked all of Saturday and I was impressed by just how much I could get through the machines without the distractions of 'phone calls and emails, let alone customer visits and even then we had two people pop in to see us.

I also used to do trade shows, three days at Olympia or Earls Court is enough to make someone take a permanent dislike to people, I remember being on a stand at the NEC with the name of the company and what we did in big letters above our heads when for what seemed like the 100th time someone asked my colleague what we did. She told him we sold drugs to school children.

Trade shows at Bisley on the other hand were very hard work but fun and I do miss them.

AFAIK there's only one slide mount available in the UK for the GSG 1911 and that's the one Blackrifle do. If you've not got a Vortex or Shield red dot you'll need to do some bodging

The Shield that is allegedly on its way to me has the slide fitted already. Hope not too much bodging is required.
