buying .22lr ammo around Bristol
what are my options for gunshops with .22 availiable around Bristol?
so far I've been in Braces, they only had some Federal champion HV I think they said it was.
it went through the new GSG 1911 without issue, as did the 200 CCI minimag I had, but now I dont have any ammo left, and would like to see what else goes through it nicely.
the 10 rnd mag really doesn't last long

Dauntsey guns are only an hour away. They have good stocks

1- Buy 5 more magazines.
2 - Buy +4 followers and +2 (they claim +3 but they're not) base plates for all the magazines.
3 - Buy a McFadden Lightening Loader.
4 - Have to buy ammo much more regularly.
5 - Request your .22lr limit on your FAC is upped to 1000 rounds.
6 - Enjoy.

Re: buying .22lr ammo around Bristol
I'm off to shooting supplies probably on Friday.
I'll checkout newavon today
And i know. Already bought another mag plus the follower. Bases seemed a bit expensive for just 2 bullets more. My .22 allowance is 1500 so i should be OK for now

Give Clinton a ring. http://reloading.org.uk/bradaz11 wrote:what are my options for gunshops with .22 availiable around Bristol?

Cheapest place I've found. He doesn't keep mini mag though and he works from home so he's appointment only. The SK stuff is good quality though and cycles perfectly in our 10/22s and my Buckmark LBP
I can recommend Dauntseys too (confusingly, another Clinton) but they are a little dearer than Reloading.org.uk.

thanks, i'll give him a try too, he was on holiday last week according to the website.
I'm no fan of minimag so that sounds good. so far, the federal is what i'm liking most

A few guys at my club get on well with the Federal Champion. £35 a brick is pretty good too!
