Rifle ranges around Cannock

Hi,

I'm new here and would like some info if anyone can help. I've been shooting air rifles on and off for a while and I've recently changes jobs meaning I have more spare time. I'd like to get into shooting rimfire and centrefire rifles and would like to know if there are any ranges/clubs local to the Cannock area (West Mids/South Staffordshire).

There is the 49th in Birmingham but I believe it is only indoor (http://www.49th.co.uk/)

Or my Club in Stourport which has 30 firing points and 100m range, can shoot all pistols and most rifles (max velocity 2150fps)

stourport and severn shooting club are stacked out with a waiting list so are many other clubs this way, i would suggest looking north not south for a club

The 49th has two indoor ranges, but we shoot 4-5 times a year at Bisley and at Sennybridge as a club, we have a lot of NRA members who shoot as individuals at Bisley through out the year.Come and have a look , only down the M6.
