Managed to pick up an AP-85 yesterday to add to my collection.
Gun seems in good enough condition and will hopefully be tested out this week.
This particular gun has apparently had some modifications, mainly a newly made firing pin, a new buffer tube and a threaded barrel (all done my competent gunsmiths)
Otherwise the only thing wrong is its missing the front sight post, so I'll be making one of those in the next day or so (or at least make a simple post to use why ill get a better one machined by someone with an actual workshop)
My main question to the forum is if anyone has more info or documentation on these rifles (or if anyone has one themselves) as I fo on this models seems to be difficult to find (I know it's a bullpup version of the ap-80 but would still like to find the actual user manual or proper disassembly instructions
in advance for any help, hopefully I'll be able to do a full write up and get some more info on this model out onto the interwebs

I have an AP-80 and what I can tell you is that the mags are as rare as hens teeth, lucky you have two.Yours is a FAMAS replica and is one of the rarer Armi Jager rifles. If you trawl the 'net you may find a manual for it.

Spares for these are an absolute nightmare and some parts vary even within the same model run so take care on that front!

Re: Adler/Yager AP-85
I've been looking for one for ages, just like that the something a bit different and rare.
Was very surprised when the seller had two magazines for it.
As for spares, I knew what I was getting into and have already concluded that I'll likely have to make the parts myself (which I'm already doing with the front sight and sling mount as they are missing on this example)
