Hello from Hertfordshire

#1 Post by aris »

Been doing shotgun shooting for a while- slowly moving to small bore and full bore - FAC application is in process!

Look forward to some friends advice and banter here.

Hello Aris,

What sort of shooting do you want to do? & I presume with FAC app in your already a member of a club?

If you want to shoot Target Rifle? then PM me for info on Herts RA, if you intend to shoot a mix of TR Service rifle & a little gallery rifle then The North Herts Rifles is open for membership.

We have 4xP14 7.62 trainers, 2x Paramount 308 TR/MR, a Swing FTR/TR/MR 308, 2xNo4 303 & 8x22s inc a Winchster 1894, Ruger1022, Century, BSA Mk3 LH & Mk2 RH & 3x Anschutz target rifles. (one with TR 1/4 moa sights so you can do the NRA 200 & 300 smallbore shoots with it). The club has 9 county marksmen (1 women) inc 5 GB caps, we can coach you to that standard.

We shoot Thorn (Bedford) for 22 & Bisley for all else but for the Hebrides for anything stand off & with a range of greater than 10 miles.

ding us if interested.
Quality control of Scottish Ethanol. & RDX/HMX

& my fav chemical is :-) 1,3,7-trimethylxanthine.......... used to kill frogs.... but widely consumed & in vast quantities by the French? Eh?

Welcome. I'm in Herts too - thankfully, as the licencing dept of Beds, Herts and Cambs is one of the best. Let us know when you applied and when you get your certificate and if you go tall you asked for. It's a topic much discussed on this forum :-)
