The only .22 I've ever seen fire out of battery was a Ruger 10-22, I know the M&P is popular but could you imagine them 'banning' 10-22's....

Are they sure this wasn't more an issue with Remington ammunition than with the rifle?
In 1978 I was told by my grand dad that the secret to rifle accuracy is, a quality bullet, fired down a quality barrel..... How has that changed?

Guns dont kill people. Dads with pretty Daughters do...!

Anyone using Remington .22 ammo should be banned....

The 15-22 manual clearly states not to use Remington ammo, particularly golden bullet and thunder bolt.
