Forum rules
Posting of negative comments in the Gunshop section could bring unwanted criticism on the forum, having said that it is important to let members know if dealings with a Gunshop were less than ideal for you. To that end we will allow what will be known as the 'Scotsgun Ruling'

The Scotsgun Ruling:

>Add Gun Shop here<

"As I've yet to have a 'positive' experience there, I'll refrain from commenting further."

Beyond that please take it up with the Gunshop, if you do resolve the issue in a agreeable manner let us know!

This rule applies to the entire forum.

The Viking purchased a rifle from Fultons a few years ago, she rang up and offered them (from memory) GBP250 less than ticket price and they said yes on the spot. Other than that it was like pulling teeth when trying to get service in the shop.

I'd have to be very desperate to ever set foot in the place again.

OK Time to stop bashing them now.

Lets remember that they are on site permanently and always there when you need that little something in an emergency, which would ruin your weekend. Whether you purchase large items from them or not, they are still there for you
Where are all the other companies and RFDs with their fantastic service, which we purchase from all the time??? They only show up for a few weeks each year..
I admit that I support my local RFD vehemently and he services 99% of my shooting requirements, but I am also grateful that I am able to (and do) purchase items as I unexpectedly need them.
They are a fountain of knowledge of many shooting disciplines and rifles, so 80% of their knowledge is wasted on a mere TR guy like me.
The guys serving you in the shop are the ones working out the back too. I can empathise with them because of my business, but I am afraid that yes, sometimes the customer walking in the door wanting service does really interrupt the flow of what they are working on.

How ever it would be nice if they had some knowledgeable eye candy to run front of house and a fantastic on line retail store.

I must make a point of visiting Fultons now that so many have given a negative comment just to see if they are correct. Maybe that's their cunning plan. Any publicity is good publicity?
