Apology

#1 Post by dodgyrog »

For those awaiting boolit orders my apology for the delay but I have a 'herniated disc' in my back which stops me casting and lubing for a couple of weeks.
Ouch!

I know how that feels, I hope they gave you some good drugs!

'Slipped disc' must be one of the most painful things you can have. When mine went the first time I was off work for seven miserable months.

My left leg is numb and I can only walk a couple of hundred yards at the mo'.
There's a bit in the Times this this morning saying that all 3 types of pain killer are useless. I take 800mg Ibuprofen every 4 or so hours but am worried what it is doing to my insides
Osteopathy helped but will take a few weeks to straighten me out!
I have GOT to stop lifting heavy weights.
It's great getting old ain't it!!!

Nothing wrong with you, I saw you lifting that very heavy travel beaker of tea at the gun club last night

Anyway, could have done with you this morning when ParcelMan Pat delivered my little parcel with 34Kg of shiny Nosler bullets in it :D
There's room for all Gods creatures, next to the mash and gravy :)

That's too much Ibruprofen! Its really not good for you, at least be sure to eat as its even worse on an empty stomach.
The only pain relief that helped me was Codiene (helped a bit) and Tramadol (helps a lot) although you will have to get a script for both of those. How bad is the pain?
Its the sciatica that really gets you. Just don't sneeze! :o

Best described as excruciating, anyway whinging OVER!
I set to and cast 500 303 boolits this afternoon so that's ok - the lubing is the next challenge
