Wow - he's making America great again! I'd love to look around his museum, I thought the gun belt buckle was a myth!

Ian from 'Forgotten Weapons' has a video with one: https://youtu.be/LZhHW3JhGDEHALODIN wrote:Wow - he's making America great again! I'd love to look around his museum, I thought the gun belt buckle was a myth!
Surely the cluster bombs etc are inert?! And as much as I'd like to visit that collection I wonder how he prevents people picking up live rounds, or grenades? A fire in there would also be catastrophic

All the inert stuff is blue, the cluster bomb and those 500 pounders, that looked more like fuel tanks, were blue.ArcofZen wrote: Surely the cluster bombs etc are inert?! Thanks for the link, fascinating... That's one helluva piece of history. I was lucky enough to be invited around to a military medal author's house many years ago and I held 2 x 20th July 1944 wound badges, a (possibly Karl Dönitz's, but I can't be 100%) u-boat war badge in diamonds and Goering's pilot's badge with diamonds and a jewellers copy of the same award. These things are so phenomenally rare it's amazing they even still exist. Holding an award that was personally presented by Hitler is about as close as any historian can get to WWII.

Well done to him, must be quite a few dollars in that lot.

What a place, I would spend more than a few hours looking around.
