Check any squaddies Facebook page and see how much attention is paid to that....!
In 1978 I was told by my grand dad that the secret to rifle accuracy is, a quality bullet, fired down a quality barrel..... How has that changed?

Airsoft event organisers have fallen foul of their attendees plastering video and pics from events held on training areas all over social media.

It was actually A range. We shot at 100 yards before moving back to 300 yards.stottycake wrote:That's b range 100- 600 yardschristel wrote:Never ever "weapons"...they are firearms/guns/whatever else you want to call them apart from the aforementioned word.
Google the above word and you will know where I am coming from. All about perception, especially to the non shooting public.
Your FEO will very likely call them weapons, ignore him/her.
Nice pictures and thanks for posting, what is the distance?
A.range is 100-300 yards

Can't be that big as I have been there a number of times and never seen it!phaedra1106 wrote:Ponteland is not a bad range at all, the wind especially on B range can be "variable" at times :)
I'm sure there's a big sign in the car park that says you're not allowed to take any photographs on MOD ranges

I think that you will find that photography is not allowed on all MoD ranges, best that you have your club check with Landmarc to ensure that you are allowed to take photographs so that you are not putting future bookings of your club in jeopardy.

From the DIO Document "Use of Service Ranges by Civilian Clubs":
11. Security
d. Cameras and Photography
11. Security
d. Cameras and Photography
A quick Google search will show that that is not always adhered to, unless the Commander has been inundatedPhotography is NOT permitted on the ranges without the specific authority of the Commander. Clubs are requested to tell members not to bring cameras onto the Ranges.

No matter how much you push the envelope,
