I am after an AR15 A2 type front sight or similar, it is for a project and as I am not even sure if it fit anything will do at this stage.

Chris, it might however it is for a 12 Bore shotgun and I am not sure the block could be bored big enough to fit. I was hoping I could chop an A2 front end down, machine a lengthways dovetail and fit however it is only an idea hence trying to find something to test with.

No, this is to be attached to the barrel, I have a slugster front sight that is not high enough so I need to machine the front pad flat and then atatch a new sight blade to it.
